En mojado, 60–0 mph promedió 192 pies. La consistencia fue buena (±2 pies) una vez que los rotores alcanzaron la temperatura de funcionamiento. Subjetivamente, los Primacy Tour activaron el ABS temprano con una mordida inicial ligeramente resbaladiza y un moderado hundimiento en la parte delantera. En el uso diario se sintieron predecibles y indulgentes, con flancos suaves que suavizaban juntas y parches.

Al cambiar al conjunto de máximo rendimiento, las distancias se redujeron significativamente: En seco, 60–0 mph promedió 116 pies (mejor 114, peor 118), una mejora de 17 pies o ~13%. En mojado, 60–0 mph promedió 162 pies, 30 pies o ~16% más corto. Los Continentales generaron más agarre longitudinal desde la primera parada y fueron menos sensibles al calor en repeticiones, con un ciclo de ABS más corto y una mordida más fuerte a medida que la velocidad bajaba de 30 mph. La estabilidad durante el frenado fuerte también mejoró con los neumáticos de rendimiento.

El Camry mantuvo una trayectoria más recta con menos pulsaciones del ABS sentidas a través del pedal, y hubo menos tirones sobre las juntas de la superficie. Con los neumáticos ecológicos, los baches a medio frenado podían alargar momentáneamente la parada mientras el neumático se soltaba y volvía a agarrar; el compuesto de rendimiento y la carcasa más rígida manejaron esas perturbaciones con menos dramatismo. El ruido favoreció el conjunto de serie. En asfalto liso, el ruido interior se midió en 66.8 dBA a 50 mph y 69.7 dBA a 70 mph con los neumáticos ecológicos, frente a 67.9 y 71.1 dBA con el conjunto de rendimiento (+1.1 a +1.4 dBA).

En sellado de grava gruesa, la diferencia se amplió: 69.4/73.1 dBA (50/70 mph) para los neumáticos ecológicos, 71.2/75.4 dBA para los de rendimiento (+1.8 a +2.3 dBA). Más allá de los números, los Primacy Tour produjeron un murmullo bajo y de amplio espectro; los Continentales añadieron un leve zumbido de 180–220 Hz y un suave susurro de la banda de rodadura que los pasajeros notaron en superficies más rugosas. Conclusión: En este coche y tamaño, se puede esperar aproximadamente un 10–15% menos en las paradas en seco y un 15–20% menos en las paradas en mojado con neumáticos de verano de máximo rendimiento, a costa de alrededor de 1–2.5 dBA más de ruido en la cabina (más audible en pavimento rugoso).
